Port of Coos Bay Statement on Accident at Greenhill Reload Facility

The Port of Coos Bay and Coos Bay Rail Line is deeply saddened to confirm a tragic incident that occurred on November 1st at the Greenhill Reload facility that resulted in the death of a worker. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and colleagues who are affected by this devastating loss.

The safety and well-being of workers are paramount to the Port of Coos Bay and the Coos Bay Rail Line.  No CBRL employees or equipment were involved in the incident, however we are actively assisting local law enforcement and emergency response teams as they conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
